Blemished skin is often characterized by clogged pores, blackheads and pimples. A common approach is to use highly drying or irritating products to combat blemishes. This can further weaken the skin barrier and throw the skin even further out of balance, creating new entry points for microorganisms and promoting micro-inflammation. A vicious cycle begins.
The BHA Booster specifically complements the Love it Pure Basic Care routine for blemishes: as a leave-on exfoliant overnight or locally as SOS care. The formulation contains 2% BHA as well as ectoin, hyaluronic acid and arginine. BHA is a lipophilic acid that can penetrate deep into the pores to dissolve excess sebum and build-up. Its exfoliating action loosens dead skin cells and stimulates cell renewal; at the same time, the anti-inflammatory properties of BHA help prevent blemishes from forming. Ectoin complements the care as a stress-protection molecule, hyaluronic acid supports moisture retention, and arginine adds soothing and regenerating properties to the formulation.
Please follow the application instructions for this product and introduce highly effective active ingredients into your skincare routine gradually, so that your skin can adjust and the product remains well tolerated. The serum is water-based, oil-free, free-flowing, transparent and fragrance-free. The booster is designed as a leave-on product and is applied in the evening. Skin tolerance is dermatologically confirmed.
2% BHA
BHA (beta-hydroxy acid) is a lipophilic acid that can penetrate deep into the pores to cleanse them thoroughly and remove excess sebum and dirt particles. Its exfoliating properties also gently remove dead skin cells and stimulate cell renewal and collagen synthesis. This not only creates a radiant complexion but also makes BHA a highly effective anti-aging active ingredient. In this way, wrinkles can be reduced, while the skin appears refined and smoothed. By deeply cleansing the pores and combining this with the anti-inflammatory properties of BHA, the formation of pimples and blemishes is actively countered, and pores can appear visually smaller.
Ectoin
Whether blue light, infrared A, photo-aging, or skin roughness, cell-protecting ectoin counters environmental stressors and protects the skin.
Ectoin increases skin hydration and strengthens the skin's resilience. This makes it wrinkle-reducing, smoothing, regenerating, and skin-protecting. It inhibits inflammation and is therefore also a popular active ingredient for blemishes and other inflammatory processes. As a cell-protecting molecule, ectoin counters environmental stressors and protects the skin from skin roughness and photo-aging caused by blue light or infrared A. It also protects the skin from the negative effects of UV radiation and environmentally induced skin aging.
Arginine
The amino acid derived from red algae is one of the skin's own or the body's own active ingredients and can therefore not only be optimally absorbed and processed by the skin, but is also highly well-tolerated. Arginine moisturizes, protects the skin from free radicals and premature skin aging. In addition, arginine contributes to the regeneration of the skin's moisture-binding system, can visibly repair skin damage, and has a soothing effect on the skin.
Hyaluronic Acid
This anti-aging active ingredient binds moisture deep within the skin, plumps the skin from within, and smooths the skin's texture. The skin's moisture reserves are replenished, allowing moisture to be stored for an extended period. As a substance naturally found in the skin, hyaluronic acid can be optimally absorbed by the skin and exert its effects with maximum tolerance.

The BHA Booster is an add-on to the Love it Pure skincare system. You integrate it into your existing Basic Care without changing your routine. The structure remains the same; you simply add targeted active ingredients during the booster step.
1. Cleansing
Start with the Gentle & Calming Cleanser. This gently cleanses the skin and optimally prepares it for active ingredient care.
2. Evening add-on step: BHA Booster
In the evening, apply one dropperful to the cleansed, dry skin of the face. Avoid the eye area and eye contact. The booster has a slightly gel-like texture, spreads easily, and absorbs quickly. It is designed as a leave-on product and is not washed off.
You can use it either:
topically as SOS care for blemishes or
all over as a gentle overnight exfoliation.
Important: Start slowly and allow your skin to adjust to BHA. Begin with 1–2 evenings per week and gradually increase the frequency if your skin tolerates it well. Use BHA exclusively in the evening and apply sunscreen (min. SPF 30) during the day. For optimal results, it is recommended to use only one booster per routine.
3. Continue Basic Care: 2-phase care as the final step
Once the booster has absorbed, finish your routine as usual with Refreshing Face Fluid, followed by Day & Night Face Oil in your individual dosage. The oil supports the barrier function, reduces moisture loss, and makes the final care an ideal base for the previously applied active ingredients.
Note: Do not use if you have a known allergy/intolerance to salicylic acid or acetylsalicylic acid. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

I have been using the BHA Booster for 4 weeks now. It helped me get rid of deep-seated blemishes without drying out my skin. I had a fairly large milium on my face, which completely disappeared after two weeks of using the booster. I would never have believed this was possible without an esthetician, as I had previously tried numerous other exfoliants that either just dried out my skin or showed no effect at all. I apply the booster to my face every other evening. The pipette makes it very easy to dose the booster; you only need a little bit of product. I let the booster absorb for 10–15 minutes until I notice that my skin feels slightly firm. I then apply my favorite product, the Face Fluid.
