Balancing, antioxidant toner as the second step of the Basic Care routine
The Balancing & Antiox Rose Toner is the performance step between cleansing and skincare. It restores the skin's balance after contact with water, stabilizes the acid mantle, and makes it noticeably more receptive to the subsequent steps in the Love it Pure skincare system.
The formulation is based on pure organic Damask rose hydrosol from Provence and has a balancing, moisturizing, and soothing effect. At the same time, it protects against oxidative stress—one of the main drivers of premature skin aging—with natural antioxidants.
The toner is optional. If you prefer a maximally minimalist skincare routine or are highly sensitive to rose hydrosol, you can omit it. For maximum results, however, it is a valuable addition because it optimally prepares the skin for active skincare products.
Organic Rosa Damascena Flower Water
For the Balancing & Antiox Rose Toner, we use exclusively all-natural, distilled organic rose hydrosol from the Damask rose. It is naturally rich in antioxidants and vitamins (including B, C, and E) and also contains plant-based compounds such as pectins and tannins. As a result, it has a balancing, soothing, and moisturizing effect and supports the skin in protecting itself against oxidative stress, which is considered a key factor in premature skin aging.
Our rose hydrosol comes from organic cultivation in Provence (France), a region with a rich tradition of rose cultivation and ideal conditions for the Damask rose.
In accordance with our strict formulation principles, the recipe is formulated without added alcohol, without water dilution, and without synthetic preservatives. It is complemented by 100% natural pentylene glycol derived from sugar cane, which binds moisture while possessing antimicrobial properties. This results in a preservative-free, purely natural formulation according to cosmetics regulations, uncompromisingly pure and in line with our Pure Beauty Principles.

Sprayed onto the skin after cleansing, the Balancing & Antiox Rose Toner naturally balances the skin's pH value after contact with water and helps keep the acid mantle stable. The skin is intensely moisturized and protected against oxidative stress and premature aging thanks to the soothing and antioxidant effects of the Damask rose. Furthermore, the skin is optimally prepared for subsequent skincare products, and its absorbency is improved.
Spray the Balancing & Antiox Rose Toner onto your face after cleansing and gently pat it in with your hands if needed. Then, continue with your usual, personalized Love it Pure skincare routine. (optional: booster, then 2-phase care: Refreshing Face Fluid + Day & Night Face Oil)
The Rose Toner is generally suitable for all skin conditions and is particularly beneficial if you are looking for more balance, moisture, and protection, for example in cases of:
dull or stressed skin, oily skin or a tendency to blemishes, dry skin with a lack of moisture, mature skin as an antioxidant protective step, after shaving for soothing and pH balancing
Note: Rose hydrosol naturally contains small amounts of essential components. In the event of a known fragrance allergy or very hypersensitive skin, we recommend testing beforehand, consulting a professional, or skipping this step.

The Rose Toner is the second step of the Love it Pure Basic Care routine and combines pH balancing, hydration, and antioxidant protection in a highly pure, minimalist formulation.
It is based on pure, organic Damask rose hydrosol from Provence – with no added alcohol, no synthetic fragrances, and no fillers.
After contact with water, it helps to stabilize the acid mantle, strengthens the skin barrier, and prepares the skin to absorb subsequent skincare products. At the same time, it protects against oxidative stress with natural antioxidants – one of the main factors in premature skin aging.

The toner
After cleansing, the skin's pH level is temporarily altered. During this phase, the skin works to stabilize its acid mantle once again. This is exactly where the toner comes in: it immediately restores the skin to a receptive, balanced baseline and stabilizes the acid mantle so the skin can reliably perform its protective and regenerative functions.
At the same time, it is a performance booster for the entire routine and an intelligent transition to active skincare. On slightly damp skin, moisture-based products like the Refreshing Face Fluid or the Lifting Booster can absorb better, and the subsequent active ingredients from boosters, fluids, and oils can also be absorbed more efficiently. The result is not "more skincare," but better skincare efficacy through a cleanly structured system sequence.
In short: The Rose Toner is the interface within the system. It turns cleansing and care into a seamless sequence, so your skin has to "do less work" and your routine can unfold its full potential.
