The Day & Night Face Oil is the lipid component of Love it Pure Basic Care and, together with the Refreshing Face Fluid, forms the innovative 2-phase skincare routine.
It delivers skin-physiologic lipids such as squalane, jojoba oil, and argan oil, strengthens the skin barrier, and ensures that moisture and previously applied active ingredients are retained in the skin. The formula is fully absorbed, leaves no greasy film, and does not clog pores. It nourishes the skin, provides elasticity, and supports the skin's balance.
The oil acts as a catalyst within the system: It stabilizes, protects, and enhances the effects of the previous skincare steps—for a balanced, supple skin feel and a healthy glow.
Jojoba oil
has the ability to control and regulate the skin's own sebum production. It prevents excessive sebum production and deprives microorganisms that cause blemishes and acne of their breeding ground. In addition, jojoba oil has skin-rejuvenating properties, gives the skin elasticity, firms it, and reliably and durably protects against water loss.
Squalane
a highly effective beauty booster, gives a soft, silky skin feel, is non-irritating and does not grease. Squalane is a natural component of the skin's own hydro-lipid film and is therefore essential for an intact skin barrier. It gives a radiant complexion and is also excellent for the care of scaly and cracked skin areas as well as other barrier-disrupted skin conditions.

Argan oil

The Day & Night Face Oil is Phase 2 of the Love it Pure 2-phase care and is applied morning and evening in combination with the Refreshing Face Fluid. It adds skin-physiologic lipids to the routine, strengthens the barrier function, and helps lock moisture and previously applied active ingredients into the skin. The order of the system always remains the same: cleansing, optional booster, followed by the 2-phase care.
After cleansing, apply your booster first if needed. Next, apply the Refreshing Face Fluid as the hydration phase. Finally, apply the Day & Night Face Oil as the lipid phase, either directly on top or by mixing both phases in the palms of your hands.
The principle is simple and crucial: You don't change your routine, only the ratio of fluid to oil.
If your skin needs more moisture, increase the fluid portion. If your skin needs more lipids or has a weakened barrier, increase the oil portion. Both options are possible, mixed or layered, depending on what feels best for you.

The reason for this lies in skin physiology. For balanced, healthy skin, you always need both: moisture and lipids. Oils provide valuable lipids that strengthen the skin barrier and help retain moisture. However, they cannot provide moisture themselves. If an oil is used long-term without a hydrating base, the skin can actually become dehydrated over time, even if it feels supple on the surface at first. This is exactly where the 2-phase skincare approach comes in. The Refreshing Face Fluid intensively hydrates the skin, calms it, and prepares it for absorption. The Day & Night Face Oil complements this base with essential lipids, strengthens the skin barrier, and ensures that moisture and active ingredients are locked into the skin. Only this combination creates a complete, physiologically sound skincare routine that goes beyond superficial care to keep the skin balanced in the long term. An exception can be made when applying it over a hydrating booster. In this case, a hydrating base is already present for the oil to build upon.
